Husband to Jenny, who I met and fell in love with at Radford University in 1999. Since our marriage in 2003, we’ve been privileged to work side by side for Campus Crusade for Christ at Radford University. We love our job: we get to go all over the world together, we get to work together every day, and we get to see college students changed by God into Christ-centered lifelong laborers in the kingdom.
Father to Elijah and Evie. Elijah was born on December 7th, 2009 and we were placed with him through adoption on December 18th, 2009. He has been a huge blessing in our life and God has used him to completely open my eyes to understand my adoption into God’s family through the cross of Christ (Ephesians 1:5). Evie was born December 8th 2010 and already has me wrapped around her finger.
Follower of Christ. Jesus saved me from my pathetic religious attempts at justification at some point in high school (there was no moment that I remember). He still saves me from my pathetic religious attempts at justification just about every day.
Things I love (besides my family and Savior): coffee, theology, music, books, and Washington D.C. sports teams (I know, it’s sad) to name a few.

Yo, let’s start this dialogue.
Great header picture. My ESV looks a lot better after I spilled tea all over it at last night’s deacon meeting.
Did you spill the tea on purpose as an illustration about how the power is in the Word and not in the art-guilt edges? I’m sure that’s what I would have done.
Very nice 70′s picture, Jesse. If I had a mustache back in the actual 70′s, we could have been twins!
